Vanessa De La Riva started working in Real Estate in Douglas, Arizona in 2006. During her 16-year career, Vanessa has had the privilege and honor of serving as both the President and Vice President of the Douglas Association of Realtors.
Vanessa fell in love with the town of Artesia in 2009 when her husband, Fernando, of 24 years was fulfilling a temporary assignment at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC). Having married a U.S. Marine, duty and service to country; were traits that were instilled in the family so much that their daughter, Victoria, is currently serving in the U.S. Space Force, and their son, Fernando Jr., is currently serving in the U.S. Marine Corps. Their youngest, Elizabeth, is presently attending Artesia High School.
Born and raised in El Paso, lived in California, Vanessa was finally given the opportunity to move to Artesia, NM, when Vanessa’s husband accepted a full-time position at FLETC in 2021. She has always wanted to live in the community because Artesia felt like a place where family values were at the forefront of everyday life. She is excited to meet new people and assist in making everybody’s dream of becoming a homeowner a reality.
