Roger was born in Artesia and has spent most of his life living in and around the area. He is a USAF veteran. While in the Air Force, he was assigned to fields that covered Safety of Flight activities and carried a top-secret security clearance.
Upon leaving the Air Force, he spent over 35 years in the oil/gas/refining industry, eventually retiring from a local refining company as an Asphalt Plant Manager. His tenure there saw him hold numerous positions that involved safety, health, environmental, industrial hygiene, maintenance, and management fields. He previously held the Occupational Health and Safety Technologist (OHST) certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP). He was also able to pursue and receive an associate degree in Safety Engineering Technologies from ENMU while working full time.
He is married to the beautiful and exceptionally hard-working Ramona Kilpatrick, also with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, and together they have 2 children and 5 grandchildren.
Roger has seen the ups and downs of the local industries in Southeast New Mexico and the effects they have on the housing markets and local economies. He is familiar with the ever-changing market conditions and employment trends that are associated with the various industries of the SENM area.
He is an outgoing, fun-loving individual who uses humor to make clients and customers more comfortable during their buying or selling experience.
